Soba cafe "Michikusa" (TEL 0172-55-5852 ) opened on June 5th on the 3rd floor of "Nakasan Hirosaki Branch" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City).

This restaurant offers seasonal soba and soba-yu from Sobadokoro Kusanosho (Takada). It is open only during the daytime on weekdays, and the staff are mostly housewives and women. Shizuka Kusakari, the owner of the store, said, "We will consider how we work, and with the understanding of the Nakasan Hirosaki store, we will operate within a reasonable range."

Mr. Kusakari operates "Kusamura," which handles the sale of Tsugaru crafts, and will set up a dedicated space at the Nakasan Hirosaki store. Mr. Kusakari, who has been thinking about running a restaurant that can utilize the inventory of crafts for a long time, decided to open the restaurant because there were staff who could manage the kitchen and tenants were vacant.

Mr. Kusakari says, ``We are only open on weekdays, so the number of customers may be limited, but we serve authentic soba made at Kusanosho every morning, and we use Tsugaru crafts for our dishes. It's something that can be used on a daily basis and has value. I hope people can actually use it and enjoy their meals." The store area is about 40 tsubo. The number of seats is 37. The store also sells handicrafts.

The menu is "Lunch Set" and "Kamoseiro Set" (all for 1,650 yen), which changes depending on the season. Only 15 sets each day. In addition to mori soba (900 yen), desserts and alcohol (from 500 yen) and soba hot water (450 yen) are available. In the future, we plan to offer rice menus such as plum rice (450 yen) and eel rice bowl (800 yen).

Mr. Kusakari said, "I have memories of doing 'Dotebura' when I was a child, and I want to make it a place where people can take a break while doing 'Dotebura.' I put in the meaning that you can come while you're at it," he said.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
