Aomori coffee shop "NOPPO to COFFEE", which does not have a store, started its activities and celebrated its first anniversary on May 28th.

The store sells home-roasted coffee at weekend events and Marche, as well as online shops. The owner, Keisuke Yonesaka, and his wife, Chisato, both work as office workers on weekdays. Regarding the origin of the store's name, he says, "I named it with the hope that 'noppo = me' through 'coffee' will be an opportunity for people to connect with each other."

Keisuke said, "I used to drink instant coffee because I love coffee, but now that I'm spending more time at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, it's been fun to try hand dripping and home-roasting, which I've been interested in for a long time. I was hooked. My family and friends who drank the coffee I made strongly encouraged me to sell it because it was delicious."

The menu includes "home-roasted specialty coffee" (hot = 500 yen, iced = 550 yen), "homemade lemonade squash" (550 yen), which is made using mainly domestic lemons and takes time and effort for 3 days (550 yen). In addition to "rich milk brew coffee" (600 yen) extracted with milk, home-roasted beans (90 grams = 1,000 yen, 200 grams = 2,000 yen) and "drip bag" (1 = 220 yen, 5 pieces = 1,000 yen) will be sold. “I want you to use it as a gift,” says Keisuke.

Keisuke commented, “Over the past year, not only the number of customers but also the number of friends of the store owners have increased, and I am happy that coffee has led to new and old connections. , I want to do out-of-prefecture stores, wholesale sales, and self-planned events,” he said.
