A store manager at Eco Satocho said, "We have food loss of about 10 million yen per year, and the issue was how to reduce it. We had an idea to change the industry around April, and started a new initiative. I started as soon as possible,” he said.

The store offers 400-500 items such as sweets, plastic bottles, and ramen bags, all of which are sold at discounts of 30% or more.
