On March 11th, at the York Gallery in the underground passage of the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store (in front of Hirosaki Station), the "Sakura-style calligraphy class exhibition", known as "too free", began with a novel theme.

The Sakurafu Calligraphy Class (Fujisaki Town), headed by Miura Miura of the Japan Educational Calligraphy Association Sakurafu Branch, holds this exhibition every March for the 13th time this year. More than 300 works by 23 students who attend the same class will be exhibited along the walking path.

The past works on display include calligraphy works on themes such as "Fist of the North Star", "Kimetsu no Yaiba", and "brands of sake", and the children's works are said to be "too free" on the Internet every year. Collect topics.

This year's themes include "Samurai Japan player names", "Japanese festivals", "dog breeds", "human names charts", "little creatures", "mushrooms", "appreciation", and "works composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi". Shunsuke Kikuchi is a composer from Hirosaki who has worked on various works such as "Doraemon" and "Abarenbo Shogun".

Regarding the theme to choose, Mr. Miura said, ``I'm running out of ideas and I'm having a hard time coming up with a theme for the children to write every year. I'm thinking about it," he said.

He added, "This year, too, we were able to create works that the children worked hard to write, ranging from funny things to things that support the local community.
