From February 25, JR East's Akita branch office will hold a "MegoICa debut commemoration !! Let's learn about MegoICa! Let's use it! Campaign".

This campaign was designed to promote the use of regional collaboration IC cards. In the Hirosaki area, where IC cards could not be used for transportation until now, from February 25, Konan Bus started an IC card "MegoICa" service that can be used for general route buses, and on May 27 on the JR Ou Main Line. Suica service will be introduced at 10 stations between Hirosaki Station and Aomori Station from the 1st.

During the period, all customers who pay with Suica, Mobile Suica, or MegoICa in Hirosaki Station Building "Applies" will receive an original magnet designed with Suica's mascot character "Penguin". On February 25th and 26th, a consultation meeting will be held at the Tsugaru Lounge on the 2nd floor of JR Hirosaki Station and the event space on the 1st floor of the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki Store, where you can discuss not only IC cards but also installation of "Ekinet" and "Mobile Suica App".

At the conference, survey respondents who own Suica, Mobile Suica, and MegoICa will receive a Suica original design bag that can be cut out and used as a clear file.

A spokesperson for the JR Akita branch office said, "We want people to use the convenient MegoICa and Suica cards in line with the new lifestyle."
