On February 18th and 19th, the craft event "Winter A-line" will be held at the Aomori Prefectural Tourist and Product Center Aspam (1 Yasukata, Aomori City).

"A-line" is an outdoor event where more than 200 craft artists and restaurants from inside and outside the prefecture open their stalls. Since 2011 (Heisei 23), it has been held every summer at the Moya Hills Auto Campsite (Kumoya Rinoki). From 2019 (Heisei 31), the winter season was held as "Winter A-line" at Aspam as a venue, but it was canceled from 2021 due to the corona disaster. This year will be the first time in three years.

Mr. Masaru Kudo of the general store "Sabori-na" (Honmachi), which hosts the event, said, "I decided to host 'Winter A-line' when Aspam asked me to plan a winter event. Although the number will shrink, we made it an event where you can have a fun experience through 'craft' and 'food' in the cold Aomori winter."

"Craft" has 46 stores that gather a wide range of genres that are not available in summer, such as glass, woodwork, ceramics, cloth accessories, workshops and fortune-telling that can be enjoyed by children and adults from inside and outside the prefecture. "Food" will open 19 stores from inside and outside Aomori Prefecture, offering ramen, curry, hamburgers, fried chicken, coffee and sweets. It is said that there are shops that are opening for the first time at the event, popular shops that always have a line, and shops that sell ramen that is sold only at the event.

Kudo says, "Even if it's cold outside, I want you to have fun all day with your family and friends by looking at miscellaneous items that warm your heart, experiencing craftsmanship, and eating hot food."

The event is held from 10:00 to 16:00. free entrance.
