“Fukaura Tuna Boys & Back Dancers (FMB),” a public official who dances in Fukaura-cho, Aomori Prefecture, is gaining popularity mainly in the local area.

The group, which made its debut in June last year to "promote tuna from Fukaura," is a staff member in his early twenties, who is a member of the town hall with all five members from Fukaura. In addition to Kengo Sato, the leader Satoken, KAITO, UMI, YUKINA, and KANOKO, all of them had no experience of dancing and started exploring.

I started practicing dance in February last year, and at the beginning I received instruction from a dance teacher, but now I have pointed out what each other noticed and are working hard. Since it is an activity outside of work, I used the meeting room and other facilities during my free time after work, and the members asked me out loud, but now I am happy to do it myself (Mr. Sato). ..

Participating mainly in local events, the name is gradually rising. The children say that they have seen it, and that older people say thank them that they feel better.

The town's tuna boasts the highest landing volume in Aomori prefecture, and has announced local gourmet foods using tuna such as "Fukaura tuna steak rice bowl (magste rice bowl)" and "The Fukaura tuna curry". Mr. Sato said, "Maste bowl has achieved 90,000 meals in two years and two months since it started," and "if we can continue to hit it." “I'm more and more in love with Fukaura through my activities,” he smiles.
