The baked confectionery shop "fromage" (Kanazawa, Aomori City, TEL 017-711-8432 ) opened on October 22nd.

This store mainly deals with puddings, muffins, and financiers using cream cheese. The owner, Ayumu Kagaya, likes cheese, so the name of the restaurant is "fromage," which means cheese in French.

Kagaya used to work as a nursery teacher, but retired after injuring her back. After that, I worked at a restaurant. “I wanted to have a job where I could spend time with my family. I decided to open a store because I liked making sweets and because the owner of the property told me that I could rent it to you. I did it,” he says.

There are three types of pudding that make the most of the taste of the ingredients. "Creme brulee and muffins are standard menu items for people who don't like cheese," says Kagaya. He taught himself how to make confectionery, and he repeated trial productions while asking the person in charge of entrepreneurship consultation and his family to taste them, and finally arrived at the current recipe that uses milk and eggs from Aomori Prefecture.

The menu includes "Cheese pudding / normal" (410 yen), "Cheese pudding / matcha", "Cheese pudding / chocolate" (432 yen), "Creme brulee" (372 yen), "Daily muffin" (270 yen), " Financier" (large = 162 yen, small = 108 yen). Prepare homemade “caramel” and “black honey” (22 yen for all) as toppings for the pudding. Drinks are "hot coffee" and "ice coffee" (218 yen above), "cappuccino" and "ice cafe latte" (238 yen above).

Regarding the future, Mr. Kagaya said, "I want to increase the number of baked confectionery menus. There are still some things I can't handle, but if I have the opportunity, I would like to try opening a store at an event."
