From August 17, Hirosaki City will hold a romance activity support seminar “Hirosaki Koikatsu College” at the Hiroro (Ekimae Town) Multi-generational Exchange Room.

The seminar started last year as part of the city's population decline measures. Aiko Takeuchi of the Hirosaki Future Strategy Research Center, Corporate Strategy Department said, “Aomori Prefecture has the worst marital rate in the fourth place in Japan. Many young people do not get married because of poor awareness of grooming and lack of communication skills. I hope more young people will do it. "

The lecturer is Raisa Nishitani, the president of the travel agency “Tabisuke GK Nishitani”. He had an experience of studying psychology and speech communication at Minnesota State University, and he was born in the city, and understands the view of marriage peculiar to Tsugaru. Depending on the content of the lecture, an outside lecturer is invited.

From August to November, the seminar will be held 6 times on topics such as how to continue conversation, how to choose clothes, and future life planning. Some of the participants last year said that they learned not only about love but also how to communicate well with work, friends and family.

The price is 300 yen each time. The target is single men and women aged 20 to 30 (students are allowed). The application deadline is August 10.
