    "Aomori Marche" will be held on October 16th at Aomori City Sports Park Wakuwaku Square (Oyazawa, Aomori City).

    It has been held in Aomori City since 2012 with the aim of promoting the local production for local consumption of agricultural, forestry and fishery products, with the aim of disseminating the "charms of Aomori" centered on young farmers in the prefecture.

    Sayaka Sato, representative of the executive committee, said, "This is the 42nd time this year. In addition to sales, there is also a corner where families from children to adults can enjoy together, such as "juggling show" and "slackline experience".

    Mr. Jun Kimura of Yasomiku Farm (Namioka), who opened the store, said, "One of the attractions is that we can hear directly from customers about their impressions and requests about the products. Ohmasari, fresh peanuts that are delicious when steamed, are in season in Aomori from the latter half of September to the end of October.”

    Mr. Sato said, "This time, in connection with the 'harvest festival,' the staff will dress up in Halloween costumes to liven up the venue. Visitors are also welcome to wear Halloween costumes. I hope you will enjoy the last Aomori Marche of the year."
