    "Restaurant Shiki no Sennari" in Aomori (1 Honmachi, Aomori City, TEL 017-722-4750 ) began serving "Nabeyaki Udon" on September 22nd.

    The restaurant's signboard menu is said to be "Sennari when you think of nabeyaki udon". Ten kinds of ingredients are used: mochi, shrimp tempura, green onions, kamaboko, sardines, shiitake mushrooms, chicken, parsley, burdock, and eggs. Masataka Narita, the third-generation owner of the shop, says, "Customers say, 'The dashi is different.' Offered every year from late September to May during Golden Week.

    Mr. Narita said, "Nabeyaki udon has been around for over 60 years. When I was in kindergarten. My grandmother and mother were both from Tokyo, but they said they had never seen mochi or shrimp tempura in Tokyo. I said.

    The restaurant, which celebrated its 90th anniversary on September 7, offers Chinese noodles, set meals, sweets, etc., using domestic and prefectural ingredients. According to Mr. Narita, when it was first established, it was a sweets shop serving zenzai and anmitsu, with the hope that women and children would come.

    "Convenience stores started selling sweets, and sweets didn't sell well. As we responded to requests from customers such as 'I want to eat curry and katsudon,' it became a popular cafeteria," says Mr. Narita, looking back. . “Nowadays, more and more customers are looking forward to nabeyaki udon,” he said.

    Every year from the end of August to the beginning of September, there is only one day of "Midsummer Nabeyaki Udon", and only 30 servings are served. The project was started for customers who want to eat it all year round, and it is said that they will investigate the day when the temperature rises the most. Narita says, "We're always fully booked. On a hot day, I want you to sweat and eat hot nabeyaki udon like a punishment game and feel refreshed."

    Mr. Narita said with a smile, "We've reached our 90th anniversary, but it's just an accumulation of days. There are times when it's difficult and difficult to do for many years, but I hope we can continue to have fun while laughing."

    The price is 935 yen. Business hours are from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 (Thursday to Friday). Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
