On July 16th, a tourist exchange facility "Matsunoyu Exchange Center" (Nakamachi, Kuroishi-shi, TEL 0172-55-6782) was opened on Komise Dori in Nakamachi, Aomori and Kuroishi.

The facility on the same street, which has been selected as an important traditional building preservation district, has renovated the public bath "Matsunoyu" that was open until 1993. According to the record, it was already in operation in 1911 (Meiji 44), and the structure of the building was clarified from this construction, and it is speculated that it was Hatago in the Edo period.

After the public bath closed, the city acquired the building in 2008. Since around 2010, we have held symposiums and workshops to involve citizens and make effective use of them. “I want this to be a place where residents can interact,” said the person in charge of the City Machisode Promotion Division. The exterior was left as it was, and the interior was regenerated as an exchange space.

There will be 30 seats at the civic salon, and two rooms with 6 and 8 tatami mats in the tatami space called "Interchange Room". Equipped with Wi-Fi, you are free to bring in food and drink. It also has a function as a tourist information center, and a database, leaflets, and pamphlets that can be searched for history and tourist information will be installed at the bathhouse of Onsen.

Also available for private use. If not for profit, citizen's salon (320 yen / 1 hour), during exchange (100 yen / 1 hour). For the purpose of profit, it will be a civic salon (640 yen / 1 hour), and during the exchange (210 yen / 1 hour).

Opening hours are from 9:30 to 18:00 (when reserved for use, open by 22:00). Closed on Mondays from December to March.
