Boulangerie Four (Kikko-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-33-2222 ), a bakery near Hirosaki Park, reopened on November 26 after renovation.

French bread and croissants are popular, and the shop is known for its cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park. It was renewed due to the expansion work of the Konyamachi Noda Line road. The store has been closed since May for renovation work. The owner, Tsuyoshi Hitomi, said, "The sales space has become a little narrower, but we left the eat-in space with a view of Hirosaki Park and installed dog poles."

This is the second renewal of the store. When it opened in 1998 (Heisei 10), it opened in a vacant tenant in the current parking lot. In 2014, the store moved to its current location. In this renovation, the layout of the kitchen was changed and a living space was also created on the second floor.

The restaurant was started by a married couple, Tsuyoshi Hitomi and Takako. The two met in Tokyo, and Tsuyoshi moved to Hirosaki with Takako, who wanted to open a business locally. When he first opened, he struggled to live in an unfamiliar land rather than running the store. Tsuyoshi says with a smile, "I was able to continue with the support of many people. 25 years went by in the blink of an eye. Now every day is fun."

French bread (300 yen), croissant (240 yen), and white bread "POWER" (390 yen) are standard products that have been offered since the opening. Curry bread (250 yen), side dish bread such as cutlet sandwich (280 yen), red bean bread, salt bread (200 yen above), "apple pie" (380 yen) using ruby, and a drink menu are also available.

“We have reopened for the first time in about six months, but we have had many visitors since the first day. Tsuyoshi says, "If there's one thing we've been sticking to, it's that we only serve bread that's freshly baked that day. We'd like to continue to provide food that we think is delicious to eat." Takako shows her enthusiasm, saying, "The renovation is filled with lots of 'likes.'

Business hours are from 7:30 to 18:00 (closes at 17:00 on Sundays). Closed on Mondays.
