Hirosaki's brewery "Be Easy Brewing" (Matsugae, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-78-1222 ) is currently selling the "Aomori no Iimono Series".

"Aomori no Iimono Series" developed by Gareth Burns' brewery. Mr. Gareth "felt good" craft beer made from Aomori products, "TSUGARUNURI" with the theme of Tsugaru lacquer on October 10th, and "Tsugaru Vidro" released on October 24th is Tsugaru Vidro. is the theme.

Mr. Gareth is a former U.S. Air Force soldier who moved to the Tsugaru area in 2007 after arriving at Misawa Air Base in 2005. Mr. Gareth, who says that Aomori is the best, shows his desire to spread the charm of Aomori widely through craft beer.

"TSUGARUNURI" uses barley wine. Gareth says barley wine is a high-alcohol ale that takes twice as long to brew as regular beer. “Tsugaru lacquerware is a craftsmanship that takes time and care to apply layers of paint. This beer is inspired by barley wine,” he says confidently. The design of the label was commissioned to "Genbei" (Oura Town), and the pattern of the actual Tsugaru lacquerware was incorporated.

"Tsugaru Vidro", which is the theme of "Tsugaru Vidro", is a handmade glass product designated as a traditional craft of Aomori Prefecture. “We created a beer that looks great even when poured into Tsugaru Vidro, which has various designs and colors,” says Gareth. The label has a design that incorporates eight colors of patterns inspired by Tsugaru Vidro's flagship product "NEBUTA".

Mr. Gareth enthusiastically said, "There are many good things in Aomori. There are not only things, but also many places and spots, so I would like to increase the number of series." "Next, I'm thinking about making a beer based on Tsugaru Koginzashi," he said.

The prices are "TSUGARUNURI" (350ml = 975 yen) and "Tsugaru Vidro" (350ml = 675 yen). Alcohol content is 11%, 6.5%. Sales locations in Hirosaki City include Gareth's Hideout (Matsugae), Hummingbird Liquor Store (Tomita), Kato Liquor Store (Nishi Shigemori), and Turnip Center. It will also be sold at the “Be Easy Brewing” online shop.
