The soup curry specialty store "MAGARI" opened on April 12 in the eat-in space of the Kawagoe Kogane Yaki store (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City).

The store is run by Kentaro Kawagoe, the fifth generation owner of the Kawagoe Kogane Yaki store known for "Kogane Yaki". As a soup curry specialty store, we plan to sell not only eat-in but also take-out, and from the end of April, we plan to deliver food using "Wolt".

Mr. Kawagoe worked at a restaurant in Sendai, but made a U-turn in 2012 (Heisei 24). I was helping the store with the idea of succeeding the Kawagoe Kogane-yaki store, but I started working at the soup curry specialty store "KANDY SPICE" (Ekimae-cho, Hirosaki City) and experienced the store manager.

Mr. Kawagoe said, "I was looking for a property in consideration of independence, but I could not find a place that met the conditions. There were also corona sickness, and there were few people who eat in golden ware, so I do not want to rent a space and utilize it. When I proposed it to the 4th generation, I was able to get an understanding. "

The store area is about 5 tsubo. There are 8 seats. The inside of the store was hardly renovated, and a new checkout counter was set up. The menu includes "vegetable" (1,080 yen), "chicken leg", and "more vegetable" (1,180 yen) containing 8 kinds of vegetables. You can choose 10 levels of spiciness and adjust the amount of rice. In addition to toppings such as cheese, spills, and maitake (starting at 100 yen), drink menus such as hot coffee (starting at 420 yen) and homemade lassi (starting at 380 yen) are also available.

Taking advantage of the taste of the ingredients, vegetables are carefully fried after receiving an order. Mango is used in the soup to add sweetness. Regarding the appeal of soup curry, Mr. Kawagoe says, "If you compare curry to an orchestra where the ingredients are in harmony, soup curry is like band music in which individual ingredients insist on each other. The balance is interesting while showing the goodness of the ingredients." ..

Since the Kawagoe Kogane Yaki store is open, customers often buy Kogane Yaki after eating curry or while waiting. "I think there is a synergistic effect beyond expectations," says Kawagoe. "I want to make soup curry more rooted in Aomori. I hope Dotemachi will also be lively."

Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 17:30 to 20:00 (last order is 30 minutes before closing). Closed on Mondays, 2nd and 4th Sundays.
