    "Sakurafu Calligraphy Classroom Exhibition" started on March 19th at the Ito-Yokado Hirosaki store (in front of Hirosaki city station) underground passage York Gallery.

    The calligraphy exhibition held in March every year is the 12th time this year. We exhibited works with unique themes that are not like calligraphy exhibitions, and in the past we exhibited under the themes of "Fist of the North Star's Special Move", "Muscle Name" and "Sake Brand", and the topic was "too free" mainly on the Internet. It has become a focus of attention every year.

    The organizer is the "Sakurafu Calligraphy Class" (Fujisaki Town, Aomori Prefecture) held by Mr. Miura Sakurafu of the Sakurafu Branch of the Japan Educational Calligraphy Association. This year, 266 works produced by 22 students in the same classroom who attend from the age of 5 to the second year of high school will be exhibited. According to Mr. Miura, classes were closed or closed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection this year, and the classrooms had to be refrained from doing so.

    This year's themes to be exhibited along the moving walkway, which is about 40 meters long, are "actually edible creatures," "I praised myself," "more rules," "loved funny things," and "Japanese World Heritage Sites." 10 themes such as. Miura smiles, "I wrote a lot of my homework this year, and I couldn't give detailed guidance, so on the contrary, there are many unique works."

    Mr. Miura says that children often do not feel well as the corona sickness continues. "It's a work that children themselves can be encouraged by, and even adults can think about it. Feel free to stop by and see it," he said.
