On February 22, the confectionery store "Syaron Kanyoudou" (Maemachi, Kuroishi City, TEL 0172-52-4688 ) began selling the product "Kuroishi Sabre" in collaboration with Kuroishi Commercial High School.

The same sable of rice flour in the shape of special products representing Aomori prefecture such as cherry blossoms in Hirosaki and tuna in Oma. Use garlic powder or Tsugaru miso to match the taste. Mr. Kazuhiko Ishiguro, the president of "Sharon Kanyoudou" who learned that Kuroishi Commercial High School will be closed in March due to school integration, asked Mr. Kyoichi Takahashi of the school three years ago if it would be possible to jointly develop products. Was the beginning.

Mr. Ishiguro said, "I miss the high school that had been in Kuroishi for nearly 50 years as a resident of Kuroishi. I asked if I could do it at a confectionery store."

According to Mr. Takahashi, there was a class called subject research for third graders, and it was possible to invite a lecturer from outside, so product development inviting Mr. Ishiguro started in April 2020 (Reiwa 2). .. Mr. Ishiguro recalls, "We aimed to create a product that will be loved 10 years from now, so that the sweets we jointly developed will prove the existence of the school."

At the beginning of the class, I was thinking about developing products that make use of Kuroishi's special products, but now I am aiming for products that have an impact that will appeal to the people of Aomori Prefecture and the whole country. “We asked the students to investigate sightseeing spots and special products not only in Kuroishi but also in Aomori prefecture. The students also had the opportunity to learn about their hometown by investigating Aomori on their own,” says Takahashi.

By expanding the target to tourists, a sable that lasts for a long time was selected instead of namagashi. The shape of the sable is designed by the students. More than 30 designs were submitted by a total of 15 students who took the course. There are also taste ideas that use local specialties such as Shimizumori number and Dakekimi Corn , and considering the combination, there are countless product developments.

Mr. Ishiguro says, "Because we aim to be a product that will continue to be sold for 10 years, it is important to have a mechanism that does not make consumers bored. We want to combine design and taste in a way such as season and limitation, and aim to become a long-selling product."

Ayane Ogawa, a third-year student in the information processing department, said, "A product that finally takes shape from the thoughts and hardships of seniors. Ba ".

The price is 1,650 yen (7 pieces).
