On January 18th, the sale of cup noodles inspired by the miso ramen "Nakamiso" at the department store "Nakasan Hirosaki Store" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City) began at Nakasan and Lawson stores nationwide.

"Nakamiso" has been loved as a soul food for Hirosaki citizens for over 40 years at the food court on the basement floor of the department store. Starting with the commercialization of chilled noodles in 2016 (Heisei 28), we have focused on developing products such as hot noodles, "Nakamiso Yakisoba" and "chilled Nakamiso", and in October last year we also achieved instant bag noodles.

The product name "Miso Ramen supervised by Nakamiso" was planned as a product commemorating the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Hirosaki Nakasan store, and was realized in collaboration with Lawson (Tokyo). Developed and manufactured by Sanyo Foods (Gunma Prefecture). Takahiko Higuchi of the Sales Planning Division reveals, "This is the first time we have developed a product with a non-local company. It was a start from scratch."

Mr. Higuchi smiles when he can deliver the taste of his hometown to people from Hirosaki who live outside the prefecture because the "Miso Ramen supervised by Nakamiso" that he developed over half a year can be distributed nationwide. "On SNS, there are already voices that please people living outside the prefecture," he said.

On the same day as the release date, there was a customer who made a "Nakamiso Tower" with about 1000 pieces lined up in the underground food section of the store and purchased multiple items from the opening.

The price is 238 yen. Nakasan's official online shop "THREE MALL" also sells 12 pieces (with a special box, 2,852 yen).
