    A talk session "Hirosaki Re Design by Architect Makoto Tanijiri" was held on December 2nd at the Aomori Bank Memorial Museum (former Fifty-nine Bank Main Store Main Building). Sponsored by Aomori Creation Partners (Aomori City).

    Part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs's "Project to promote high added value of cultural resources corresponding to with corona". On this day, with the theme of Hirosaki architecture, three speakers talked about 10 buildings in Hirosaki city in order to aim for high added value of tourism resources.

    The main guest is Makoto Tanijiri, an architect who handles everything from interiors to residential and commercial spaces.     In the latter half of the talk session, Mr. Tanijiri proceeded with the story based on the photographs taken when he visited Hirosaki. Mr. Tanijiri says, "Photographs are important, but the scent I felt at tourist spots can be a lifelong memory." Mr. Koishikawa says, "We usually think about preserving and leaving buildings with cultural value, but I learned the importance of telling them in this story," he said.
