    The Italian restaurant "La Fonte" (TEL 0172-62-6465) in "Aomori Roadside Station" Apple Hill (Namioka, Aomori City) will celebrate its first year on March 22nd.

    The owner chef Shinichi Narumi has been the chef of the same restaurant in Koto Ward, Tokyo, and Nagareyama, Chiba for 15 years. I made a U-turn to Aomori City when the store closed, and when I was thinking of opening a new store in Aomori, I happened to know that the store was vacant. "I was able to use the coffee shop I used to do without a room, so I made a quick decision," he said.

    Looking back on the first year of operation, Mr. Narumi said, "I managed to get on track." Because the kitchen is small, pasta is the only menu. Raw noodles, tomato sauce, etc. are procured from a company in Tokyo with whom I had a relationship. "The cost of the place is cheaper than in the Kanto region, so there is no labor cost because two couples are doing it. We offer 300 yen cheaper," the contents of the food are almost the same as those offered in Tokyo and Chiba. If not, show confidence.

    Some people come from outside the prefecture, listening to reviews and reputation. “Because it's close to Aomori Airport, airport users often come and go,” said Narumi. "I refused all interviews, but I decided to get interviews because the customer's feet were temporarily away during the winter," he laughs.

    The menu includes pasta A set (1,280 yen) with 6 kinds of dessert assortment that is handmade except for appetizer platter, today's pasta, sherbet, and B set (1,380 yen) where pasta is changed to raw noodles. Pasta for individual items is 850 yen each (additional 100 yen for raw noodles). Various drinks and alcohol are also available.

    Business hours are from 10:30 to 20:00. Closed on Wednesdays.
