The ramen specialty store "Ramen Kuroda" (Yamazaki, Hirosaki City) near Hirosaki Gakuin Seiai High School was reopened on June 25th.

"Menya Takagi", which has been closed since March, has renewed its menu and interior with a Japanese theme. The owner, Rintaro Takagi, said, "In Takagi, we mainly offered dried sardines, which are popular in the Tsugaru area, but as a new challenge, we decided to use ramen other than dried sardines."

The menu is "Soy sauce ramen" and "Salt ramen" (more than 750 yen), which is a soup made from chicken and pork. Ajitama is 100 yen and char siu is 200 yen. A large serving of junior and senior high school students is free.

The store area is about 16 tsubo and the number of seats is 16. An original poster with Mt. Iwaki, Sakura and Kuroda Kanbei will be displayed in the store. "I like Kuroda's saying,'I don't want to be afraid of myself, I don't want to be rich,' and it's also the origin of the store name," says Takagi.

Takagi is now 24 years old. After graduating from high school, he worked at a ramen shop in the prefecture and opened "Menya Takagi" in July 2019. I started thinking about the renewal about a year after it opened, and started preparing to take advantage of its strengths because it is a suburban store surrounded by apple fields. For about four months when I was closed, I went out of the prefecture to study, including management, and did the renewal work inside the store myself.

It is said that the ramen image will not be sent as a store. "I hope customers can communicate with each other using SNS," says Takagi. "It's open for lunch now, but I'd like to think about opening at night and think about menus only at night," he said.

Business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00. Closed on Mondays.
