"Soba and Motsu Aoba" (Hyakuzawa, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-83-3002) opened on April 29 in the facility of the Iwakisan Tourist Association at the foot of Mt. Iwaki.

The store was jointly opened by Kimiko Sakuraba of the cafe "Sakurabayashi Saryo" (Hyakuzawa) and Eriko Takeuchi of "Popular BAR BASK" (Honmachi). In addition to soba and curry, it sells meat for barbecue.

Last year, the Iwakisan Tourist Association closed the facility itself due to the withdrawal of tenants in the restaurant space due to the impact of the new coronavirus. Mr. Sakuraba, who was consulted about opening a store, said, "The number of people who drive in the suburbs and enjoy the outdoors is increasing rather than playing in the city, and we thought of a store that would meet that demand."

Mr. Sakuraba, who was worried about opening a store until he called out to Mr. Takeuchi, smiled, "I decided to do it with the momentum of" Do you really want to do it? " "I want to try it first and then flexibly create stores while exploring demand."

The store area is about 24 tsubo and the number of seats is 25. Table seats were set up in the audience seats, which were slightly raised on tatami mats. Prepaid self-service. Currently, the menu is only "Soba (with surprise)", Chinese noodles, and chicken curry (700 yen or more). Prepare curry bread (250 yen), offal, beef sagari (more than 850 yen) as a takeout.

Mr. Sakuraba said, "I would like to increase the menu in the future so that people who come to Mt. Iwaki do not have to go back to the city in search of something they forgot to buy. I want to make it a fun place to stop by. "

Business hours are from 10:30 to 16:00. Closed in winter.
