Naqua Shirakami Ski Resort (Ajigasawa Town, Aomori Prefecture) is currently seeking participants for the "2nd Naqua Shirakami Con" to be held on February 28.

It has the largest number of 14 courses in the prefecture, and there are many repeaters who can slide in the magnificent nature overlooking the Tsugaru Plain and the Sea of Japan. On February 14, a half-pipe supervised by John Melville, who was the half-pipe technical advisor for the Sochi Olympics, was installed and has become a hot topic among fans.

This event is an initiative to utilize the slopes as a place for joint parties and marriage hunting, and create encounters through skiing and snowboarding. It is held at ski resorts nationwide, and it is the second time for Naqua Shirakami Kong to continue from last year. It will be the only event in the prefecture. “Last year we were blessed with the weather and the participants enjoyed playing with pairs that were in tune with each other,” said Satoshi Hasegawa, a sponsor of SURF & SNOW. "Two couples were formed at the end of the party," he said.

Eligibility is 20 years or older and under 45 years old. A set of one-day lift ticket and food / beverage plan, one pair for two men = 13,000 yen (6,500 yen per person), female = 9,600 yen (4,800 yen for the same). Tickets for food and drink plans are also available. There will also be a gift lottery to receive special desserts by the Hotel Patissier, all-you-can-eat, and gifts for lift invitation tickets.

    The deadline is February 20th.
