Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art (Yoshino-cho, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-32-8950 ) will revise the studio usage fee on April 1.

The cultural facility that opened last year after renovating the "Yoshinocho Brick Warehouse" in Yoshinocho Ryokuchi Park. It has 5 exhibition rooms, a library space that can be used free of charge, and 3 studios for rent. Until now, the studio was rented separately in the morning, afternoon, and night, but from the same day it will be rented for one hour.

Studio A is for workshops and is equipped with a paid computer (400 yen) and a 3D printer (700 yen), which can be used for production activities and practical lectures. Studio B has a 5.3-meter wide and 3.3-meter-long screen (400 yen) and a large full-length mirror that can be used for screenings and dance lessons. Studio C is a music studio that can be used for practicing, playing, and recording musical instruments.

The usage fee for one hour is Studio A = 300 yen, Studio B = 800 yen, Studio C = 200 yen. Advance reservations are required and reception is by phone only. Reservations can be made from the next day to 6 months in advance, and cannot be used on the day. The reservation status can be confirmed from the Hirosaki City Public Facility Reservation System. If you rent one studio, prepare one parking lot.

According to Kimiko Ishikawa, who is in charge of managing the studio, there were people who used Studio C for remote work in addition to using it for workshops and screenings. Mr. Ishikawa says, "I hope I can rent it more easily because I rented it for one hour. In the future, I would like to hold an event hosted by the studio."

Opening hours are Sunday-Thursday = 9:00 to 17:00, Friday and Saturday = 9:00 to 21:00. Closed on Tuesdays.
