"Tsugaru Road Izakaya Adohadari" (Dotemachi, Hirosaki City), where you can listen to Tsugaru shamisen performances, relocated and opened on January 18.

The owner, Miyuki Tanabe, is in charge of cooking and also plays the Tsugaru shamisen. The commercial complex "Lunes Ali" (Dotemachi) was closed on November 30th, so it will be relocated.

"Adohadari" is an izakaya started by Mr. Tanabe's father more than 20 years ago, and from that time the owner himself was in charge of cooking and playing the Tsugaru shamisen. Mr. Tanabe, who passed away as his second generation after his father died in 2012 (Heisei 24), decided to close the store once in 2014 (Heisei 26) due to his lack of ability and experience.

Mr. Tanabe had experience as a hairdresser in Tokyo and made a U-turn at the age of 29. I started the Tsugaru shamisen after making a U-turn. "I saw my father's performance and started to help him somehow. As I continued to practice, Tsugaru's blood said," Jawamegu (a feeling of exhilaration that I can't stand even if I'm in Tsugaru dialect) "I started to learn by becoming a disciple of the Tonichi style," says Tanabe.

It opened in Lune's Ali in April 2019, the first time in five years since it closed, but due to the influence of the coronavirus, it was relocated. Mr. Tanabe says, "It's a restart with the corona sickness, but I want to meet the expectations of those who support me and continue to provide a place to listen to the Tsugaru shamisen."

The store area is 25 tsubo. The number of seats is 40. There are two semi-private rooms such as tatami rooms. The Tsugaru shamisen will be performed at 19:00 and 21:00. The menu includes Ishikawa Wiener (400 yen), fried chicken (500 yen), and plain omelet (400 yen). Local dishes such as scallop shellfish miso grilled (500 yen) and squid menchi (500 yen and up) are also available.

In addition to the regular menu, we will prepare a set of 3 small bowls and a drink for dinner (1,200 yen), a blackboard menu and a hot pot for one person (starting from 500 yen). For sake, we have only Aomori sake, and various alcohols such as beer and sour. The creative dish "Ping Ping Yaki" inherited from the predecessor has been renamed to "Seafood Cheese Gratin" (650 yen) and continues to be offered.

Mr. Tanabe says, "I want tourists to listen to the Tsugaru shamisen, but it's difficult now. I want to continue as a store where locals can feel free to listen to the Tsugaru shamisen and use it."

Business hours are from 17:00 to 23:00. Closed on Wednesdays.
