"Junkudo Bookstore Hirosaki Nakasan Store" ( Dotemachi , Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-34-3131) is currently looking for a social contribution project "Book Santa 2020".

This project is being developed by NPO Charity Santa (Tokyo). This is a project to deliver picture books to children in an economically difficult environment, and participants can give books purchased at bookstores as gifts for Christmas.

This year, it will be held at 307 stores in 36 prefectures nationwide. The store has participated in Aomori since last year, and this is the second time this year. Participants purchase books they want to give, such as picture books and children's books, at bookstores and donate the purchased books on the spot. The book will be wrapped in a gift and delivered by volunteer Santa Claus dispatched by "Charity Santa" to Christmas Eve with a message from parents.
