A rainbow struck the Jogakura Ohashi Bridge in the Aomori / Hakkoda area around 15:00 on October 11.

Jogakura Ohashi Ohashi is located in Towada-Hachimandaira National Park, and has the longest arch span in Japan with a height of 122m to the bottom of the valley. Tourists visit during the four seasons, such as autumn leaves and fresh greenery.

The weather on this day was different from the previous day, and strong winds blew all day, and the Hakkoda ropeway was suspended. The area around Jogakura Ohashi was flooded with light rain and fog, and rainbows were witnessed many times. Around 15:00, the sun shined from the Tsugaru region, and a rainbow hung across the bridge.

A man in his thirties who was visiting from Aomori smiled, "I came to Hakkoda to see the autumn leaves, but I found a rainbow and stopped the car and took a picture." A woman in her 50s, who was visiting from Kanagawa for sightseeing, said with excitement, "I've never seen a rainbow below the ground."
