A solo exhibition "The World of Yuuki Fukushima" is currently being held at "Coffee & Gallery Gojikkokumachi" (Gojikkokumachi, Hirosaki City) near Hirosaki Park.

Hirosaki-based painter Yuki Fukushima draws by hand without using a brush. It is characterized by drawing using the water of the area, and it is said that there are many parts that are unconsciously drawn, leaving the bleeding of water and the thirst of paints naturally. In addition to exhibiting and selling about 30 paintings, the exhibition will also sell 50 types of postcards.

Mr. Fukushima worked as a furniture craftsman until he was 30 years old, but he started painting in the recommended painting class as a painter. He recalls that he was worried about standing in front of the canvas for three years. In 2017 (Heisei 29), there was one that was shaken off by "Diving with a dragon" that drew two white dragons on a canvas of size 100, and since then, the style of drawing with a hand around the dragon has been done. It is said that it was established.

In April 2019, he held his first solo exhibition at Gallery NOTIVA (Aomori City). He started his own painting class in August, and exhibited at the "2nd Ten Corporation Exhibition" held at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto and "Made in Japan 2019" in New York, USA in December.

The venue, Igarashikan, is a coffee shop with a gallery space that was renewed on May 30th. According to the owner, Shoichiro Kawamura, it was planned to be renewed at the time of the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, but the opening was postponed because the Sakura Festival was cancelled. "We plan to accept the use as a mini concert and gallery in the future."

Mr. Fukushima said, "The solo exhibition was canceled due to the influence of the new coronavirus, and although the chances of seeing it have decreased this year, we have a connection and have decided to hold a solo exhibition. You can enjoy it while drinking coffee on the first floor. It's also a space. I'd be happy if you could actually see it and tell me what you felt if you like. "

free entrance. The holding time is from 13:00 to 16:30. Closed on September 21st. Until October 1st.
