It's been a month since Hirosaki's confectionery maker, "Sato Seika" (Tsugano, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-34-3356 ) has opened a factory direct sales office.

Founded in 1952 (Showa 27), the store manufactures and sells the original (atomono = lottery) candy "Daio Warrior", "Itohiki", "Imo Ward" etc. Currently, the second president, Rikio Sato, runs the restaurant.

The direct sales office was built on August 1, 1991 (Heisei 3), at the factory's office where the apple warehouse was renovated. "The Hirosaki Sakura Festival and Hirosaki Neputa Festival were canceled due to the new coronavirus, and we lost the opportunity to sell it. Although there was a concept of a sales office originally, it was an urgent need to secure a place to sell," Mr. Sato said.

It is said that the company will open a direct sales store for the first time. Mr. Sato himself spent about a month on the renovation. In recent years, Mr. Sato has been actively opening stores, opening homepages, and registering Daio's illustration trademarks. Mr. Sato said, "I want to keep the traditional Tsugaru traditional sweets in the future. We sell not only cheap sweets but also original T-shirts (2,800 yen) and towels (1,000 yen) at the direct sales office. ".

The product lineup consists of Daio-waitou, potatoes (more than 26 pieces = 1,400 yen), Petit Daio hits, little potatoes (more than 11 pieces = 1,000 yen), Petit potatoes apple bean (11 pieces = 1,200 yen) .. They also sell butter rice crackers (270 yen) and Dorman (300 yen).

"When I opened the direct sales office, I felt the response, saying, "I first knew that the factory was in such a place," and "I came to buy a T-shirt." "Because I started the (direct sales office), I saw some problems, so I repaired it further. I want to make a window so that children can see inside the factory soon."

Business hours are from 13:00 to 17:00. Closed on Sundays and Wednesdays.
