From June 19th, the self-restraint of moving across prefectural borders was lifted, and tourist facilities around Hirosaki are taking respective measures.

The "Tsugaru Domain Neputa Village" ( Kameiko Town, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-39-1511 ) was closed in the pay area from April 20th, but it will be fully operational again from June 1st. Measures against infectious diseases were put in place, including the first non-contact body temperature detection system that detects the temperature of up to 20 people at a time by using an AI camera to detect body temperature, as the first sightseeing facility in the prefecture.

According to Kazuhiro Hiyama of the Tsugaru clan Neputa village, the Tsugaru shamisen live performance is still forgotten, but he is making unusual attempts such as showing past images. Mr. Hiyama says, "Even though the refraining from moving outside the prefecture has been lifted, I do not think that tourists will return soon. There is no choice but to wait in a thorough system."

Hirosaki Apple Park was closed from April 20th, but it was opened from May 18th. Mr. Kazuomi Ose of the Hirosaki Tourism and Convention Association, who manages the park, said, "Due to the reaction of self-restraint, the number of people on the first weekend of June was about twice that of last year. There were no change in the number of prefecture outpatients on the weekends."

The light meal cafe corner of the tourist facility "Ringo no Ie" in the park is still closed, and it is scheduled to restart on July 1. Despite taking safety measures such as wearing masks by staff and installing a splash prevention sheet, Mr. Ose said, "There seems to be resistance among customers from outside the prefecture. It is still necessary to return to normal times. It's going to be difficult."

The “ Tachibuta no Takata ” ( Osho , Goshogawara City, TEL 0173-38-3232 ) has resumed business since May 25, but business hours are still shortening. Only 10% of the visitors are normal, and it is said that local residents come to the museum with children. The person in charge said, “It seems that it will take some time for visitors coming from outside the prefecture to return. The biggest concern is that we cannot see the future.”
