Hirosaki soccer club "Brandue Hirosaki FC" announced on June 11th that a design competition for next season will be held for high school students.

Brandue is a soccer club team aiming to join the J League from Hirosaki. Currently belongs to the Tohoku League first division. This season, due to the new coronavirus, the opening of the league has been postponed and is scheduled for July 12.

Behind the launch of the design competition was the cancellation of the "National High School Fashion Design Championship (Fashion Koshien)" held in Hirosaki every August. Mr. Yuki Nishizawa, representative of Brandue Hirosaki, says, “The purpose is to create opportunities and opportunities for high school students in the prefecture to play an active role. We wanted to deliver dreams and hopes to local high school students because it is a team rooted in the local community.”

The competition will be divided into two parts, the first screening by the players and the second screening by the general vote from the internet.

The qualifications for application are high school students residing in the prefecture, including vocational school students who have advanced courses in the prefecture. There will be rules regarding design, such as the team color pink. We will also conduct a campaign to present 10 QUO cards by lottery among those who follow or retweet Brandue's official Twitter.

Brandue captain Hamachudai calls, “I have the image of being promoted to JFL next season. I will aim to fight on a uniform designed by high school students on the big stage, so let's liven up together”.

The application period is from June 12th to August 31st.
