The Tsugarumori Executive Committee announced on April 27 that it will postpone the holding of the craft fair "Tsugarumori Tsugarmori 2020" to next year.

Held as the largest craft event in Aomori prefecture at Iwakiyama Sakurabayashi Park (Hirosaki City, Hyakusawa City) in late May every year, more than 120 handicraft writers from around the country and about 30 restaurants around Hirosaki will open. This year, about 130 groups of writers, shops, and 27 restaurants were scheduled to open on May 30th and 31st.

Mr. Hitoshi Soma, the representative of the executive committee, said, "There was an idea to change the meeting in the fall in consideration of measures such as disinfectant installation and placement in the venue to prevent crowding to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection."

This year, craft events all over the country announced that they would be postponed or cancelled, and I was wondering if it could be held in Tsugarumori alone, but the event was postponed because people from all over the country gathered.

Mr. Soma said, "Some writers have already announced that they have not participated, and some have given up on this year's event and are concentrating on their own creative activities. They seemed to be thinking positively. I hope you will be patient for the year and hope to see you next year in good spirits. "
