The shuttle bus of Shibata Kindergarten (Kiyohara, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-32-6518) was repainted on April 2nd to make the children happy.

The school was established by Shibata Gakuen in 1954 (Showa 29). It features a large 4459 square meter site with a ground. In commemoration of becoming a certified children's school from April 2020, we repainted the shuttle bus for the two children.

The artist who repainted the bus was Mr. ARTIST GOMA, an outside artist living in Hirakawa. Despite ADHD and dyslexia (dyslexia), he is active both inside and outside the prefecture. Mr. GOMA is a graduate of Tohoku Women's Junior College, a subsidiary of Shibata Gakuen, so he decided to cooperate in decorating the bus.

GOMA said, “In the midst of a lot of negative news, we tried to put in a lot of animals and things to bring out curiosity so that the children could have fun. During the production, the children gathered and cheered. It was very rewarding and happy," she recalls.

The children who saw the decoration of the bath screamed "cool" and some of them searched for whales, seals, soft-serve ice cream, etc. in the drawn illustrations. Tomoaki Shimauchi, the director of the Shibata Kindergarten, smiles, saying, “For a sensitive child, it may have become a bus with new discoveries every day.”
