Hirosaki's new museum "Hirosaki Brick Warehouse Museum" (Yoshinomachi, Hirosaki City) was completed on February 28th.

The museum will be opened on April 11 after renovating the "Yoshinomachi brick warehouse" in Yoshino Park. Architect Tsuyoshi Tane, an architect based in Paris, France, is in charge of architectural design. It is said that he worked on the concept of "inheritance of memory" and "reproduction of scenery". In addition to five large and small exhibition rooms, there is a paid rental studio where you can play musical instruments and a library space where you can rest for free.

"A-FACTORY Hirosaki Yoshino Cider Studio" will open in "Cafe Shop Cider Studio" adjacent to the main museum building. "A-FACTORY" is a commercial facility operated by JR East Aomori Commercial Development Co., Ltd., which opened in front of Aomori Station in 2010. It features a cider workshop that allows you to see the brewing process through the glass, and even at "Hirosaki Yoshinomachi Cider Workshop", 7 tanks will be installed for inspection. It is said that more than seven types of cider will be brewed in FY2020.

In addition, a cafe and museum shop will open in the facility.
