JR East Water Business (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) is soliciting for a wrapping design for an apple vending machine that sells only apple juice at JR Hirosaki Station.

Apple vending machines are vending machines of "acure" installed at Aomori Station and Shin-Aomori Station. The products for sale are the Aomori apple series of the original beverage brand "acure made".

At JR Hirosaki Station, it was installed on February 26 near the concourse and elevator inside the ticket gate on the 2nd floor. On the same day, open call for applications for image design started. The person in charge calls out, "This vending machine attracts the attention of tourists and local customers. I want you to try it as a place to test your apple love."

To apply, follow the official Twitter account "@acure_official" and attach your work via direct message. Draw the design in a specified format that allows you to design both sides and front of the vending machine, and send it as a PDF or jpeg file.

The design proposal is decided by the selection of the people concerned, and the designer draws it based on the image design. The prize is one product from the Aomori apple series, one case every month for six months.

Recruitment is until March 20. Wrapping is scheduled for April or later.
