Hirosaki City opened a new parking lot on the site of the city hall (Shiragin-cho) on November 11. It has twice the storage capacity of the previous parking lot and is expected to be effective in reducing traffic congestion on nearby roads.

The new parking lot consists of a three-story, four-story three-dimensional type (capacity: 268 units) and a flat type (23 units), and the total capacity of 291 units will be double that of the previous parking lot.

Parking fee is free for the first hour. If it takes more than one hour for various applications, consultations, meetings, etc. to the city hall, you can get a parking service ticket issued by each section of the service area. If it is more than 2 hours, the authentication process in the general guide is required. If you use it for any other purpose, it will be 100 yen every 30 minutes after 1 hour (7: 00-22: 00). A charge of 540 yen will be charged from 22:00 to 7:00. Hirosaki City said that the reason for the charge was "to suppress the use other than the requirement for the city hall."

The rooftop part of the multi-storey car park will be closed during the winter season, but at the attached flat car park, construction of a complete snow melting system is currently underway.
