Hirosaki's old bookstore "VIVA! Narita Bookstore" (Hirosaki City, Dote Town, TEL 0800-777-0112) will close in late March.

The first Yangon store will be opened in Myanmar in 2018. Narita recalled, "I used to interact with international students from Hirosaki University that I met 15 years ago. It was a situation that I prepared for opening more than a year ago and went one step back three steps."

At present, while pursuing rearrangement of relics and closed properties as a comprehensive recycling store, there are already 3 stores in Myanmar, and one more store will be added in March. Mr. Narita said, “A business to sort out many unnecessary items that would otherwise become garbage and have them used by the Myanmar people who need them. It is our benefit that the disposal fee for garbage is reduced, and it is a small area like ours. The only social contribution that can be made in a store."

Regarding the closing of the store, Mr. Narita said, ``Smartphones are widely used, and in recent years the penetration of the flea market app has made it easier to buy and sell second-hand goods. Was narrow."

Mr. Narita said, "VIVA! Narita bookstores have not been closed, but Narita bookstores in Chikata-cho will continue to operate. We will continue to open counters for rearranging relics and continue to open interesting markets in Namioka and Kuroishi. ".

Business hours are from 10:00 to 19:00. Closed on Tuesdays.
