On October 11th, Hirosaki will hold a "Hirosaki apple Halloween workshop" entitled "Let's prepare for Halloween!" Organized by a voluntary group “Concha” centered on local housewives.

Concha is an organization that supports manufacturing and art activities rooted in the local community, and is active for the purpose of proposing a place to make presentations and improving the skills of participating members. Since its formation in March 2012, it has spread through word of mouth, etc., and now there are more than 150 participating members.

The workshop will be the final event of the event that has been held at three locations in the city since September 23, with the aim of enlivening the apple harvest Thanksgiving Day "Hirosaki Apple Halloween 2014" that will be held on October 12. On the day of the event, 25 booths will be opened on the theme of Halloween, where you can experience various things such as accessories, candles, and fortune telling.

From October 28, a photo exhibition will be held at Nakasan Hirosaki Store (Dote Town). For those who have missed this year's participation, it means "let's do it together next year". Ayako Hirayama, the representative of the group, calls out, "I don't mind any photos, so please send them." The recruitment method will be announced on the Concha website.
