From September 20th, the exhibition and sale of Tsugaru Nuri "Tsugaru Nuri de Omote Tenashi" will be held at Hirosaki City Traditional Industry Hall (Kanda, Hirosaki City). Sponsored by Tsugaru Lacquerware Cooperative.

This event is a Tsugaru-nuri exhibition and sales event held at this time every year. This year, 15 craftsmen will display about 400 items from classic items such as chopsticks and soup bowls to rare works such as altars and wine glasses. Continuing from last year, the Tsugaru Nuri Sharpening Experience Corner offers hands-on experience with sharpening chopsticks and spoons, and has increased the number of round trays, soup bowls, and sake bottles. “I think it's rare that you can experience polishing Marubon and soup bowl,” said Kenichi Ishioka, Vice President of the same association.

As a first effort this year, we set up a table setting corner to suggest how to use Tsugaru-nuri. "I want people to feel Tsugaru-nuri more familiar. I want to propose Tsugaru-nuri that can be used in various situations." The artist will be stationed at the venue during the event.

The cost of the Tsugaru sharpening experience is 500 yen each for chopsticks and spoons, 1,000 yen for seals, 2,000 yen for guigui, and 3,500 yen for Marubon and soup bowls. With a purchase price of 3,000 yen or more, you can win lottery tickets without empty lottery tickets. Table setting is free.

Holding time is from 9:30 to 17:00 (only on the last day until 16:00). Until the 23rd of this month.
