On August 1st, "BAR Tawaraki in Hirosaki" will open near Hirosaki Park for a limited time during the Hirosaki Neputa event.

Takamitsu Tawaraki, the owner of "Bar Tawaraki 2nd" (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) operating in Tsukishima, Tokyo, on the site of "Bar Fukita" (Shimohiragincho, Hirosaki City) that closed in 2016 (Heisei 28) Opens a business trip. According to Tawaraki, the store was ready for use as it was when it was closed.

Tawaraki is from Saitama. Worked as a bartender in Tokyo and became independent in 2016. Mr. Tawaraki has recorded the number of sales of "Ronsakapa", a rum produced in Guatemala in Japan, and was invited to Guatemala as an official ambassador. "The characteristic of Ronsakapa is that it is aged in multiple types of barrels," says Tawaraki.

The connection with Hirosaki is said to have been triggered by the fact that he was invited to a regular customer from Hirosaki in 2014 (Heisei 26) and saw Hirosaki Neputa. "I was amazed by the size of the floats and the beauty of the Neputa picture. Since then, I have started to deal with Aomori ciders and liqueurs, and I have more opportunities to know about Aomori," he says. "This time, I decided to rent a place where I knew a regular customer," he said.

The menu is limited to a variety of cocktails (1,000 yen) using 23-year-old Ronsakacapa. We also offer a 100-yen discount service by presenting screens such as sharing on SNS and making calls with hashtags.

Mr. Tawaraki smiles, "Not only tell the people of Hirosaki the charm of Ronsakacapa, but also use it as a cooldown for the hot summer festival called the Hirosaki Neputa Festival."

Business hours are from 18:00 to 24:00. Until August 6th.
