On May 27, the general corporation "Next Commons Lab (NCL) Hirosaki" released the activity base "Hirosaki Orlando" (Momoishi Town, Hirosaki City) to the public.

NCL Hirosaki will work in collaboration with Hirosaki City for the purpose of business expansion utilizing regional resources. He has launched six projects including the apple industry and wine industry in the city, and the development of new infrastructure as a "town for students," and says he will continue to create projects.

Hirosaki Orlando renovated the building that was the Hirosaki Ceremony Hall as the activity base for NCL Hirosaki. It is a two-story building with a total area of about 150 tsubo. On the same day, the space of about 24 tsubo, which was the entrance to the first floor, was renewed as a cafe. Unused rooms will be opened as guest houses and event spaces in the future.

The cafe space is now open to the public. Power supply and Wi-fi are prepared in the store, and up to one cup of coffee is free. You can bring your own food and drinks, and it is said that the cafe menu will be enhanced this fall. Event use (500 yen, 1 hour per user) is also possible.

As the office of NCL Hirosaki, this facility has already been used as a place for progress of each project and information exchange. Yuko Morita, NCL Hirosaki's chief coordinator, said, "We want to make it a place where people not only use cafes but also use it as events, and where people who want to try new things in Hirosaki can interact."

Use of cafe space is 300 yen for 30 minutes, and 500 yen for 1 hour after that. Business hours are 10:00 to 18:00, 12:00 to 18:00 (Wednesday only). Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (consultation is possible for events etc.).
