Hirosaki's “Photo Gallery Hasegawa” (Higashi Nagamachi, Hirosaki City, TEL 0172-32-3814) will be reopened on March 16th.

Established in 1927 (Showa 2), the photo studio is now run by Masayuki Hasegawa, the third generation owner. Due to the fire that occurred on January 18, 2018, the temporary store was still operating, but the studio was newly built and pre-opened from March 13.

The appearance is a white outer wall and a blue window frame. Mr. Hasegawa smiles, "Imagine the blue color of Mykonos Island in the Mediterranean Sea. It's not like snow country Aomori, and on the contrary it will be an eye catch." "The surrounding stone pavement is actually the same as the island. I've never been there," he said.

The new studio has two floors. According to Mr. Hasegawa, "The former studio, which was a three-story building, had a reception on the first floor and a shooting space on the second floor. Because it was shunned by the elderly and pregnant women, it was renewed to the first floor. ".

Mr. Hasegawa is confident, "In the new studio, you can shoot a variety of scenes, such as LED lights on windows that can be combined with natural light, backgrounds for study, and plaster walls of different colors." About 50 tsubo is added to the parking lot. The snow melting equipment will be introduced and the completion is scheduled for April 19.

The shooting fee is 5,000 yen or more for two or more types. The ID photo is usually 2,000 yen, the album fee is 6 pieces = 5,000 yen, the hinge = 5,000 yen, the wedding = 7,500 yen. We started shooting in the new studio even before the pre-opening, and we are available for consultation.

“I've worried many people because of the fire, but I think that restarting at the new studio as early as possible is the best way to give back, so I finally reached the completion,” said Hasegawa. "I want to continue taking pictures that will record the happiness of both children and adults," he said.

Business hours are from 9:30 to 18:00.
