    Two artists from Mexico will stay and produce contemporary dance works with Japanese female artists. Anonymous Body Hirosaki Project Executive Committee announced on December 26th.

    The two artists are Ivan Ontiveros, artistic director and choreographer of the LA RESISTANCIA company based in Mexico City, and Benjam Seif, a musician from Ethiopia/Australia. Performed dance works at "Anonymous Body Hirosaki-Anonymous Light" on February 16th and 17th. The co-star is Noriko Kato, an independent dance artist who lives in Hirosaki and performs with various artists in Japan and overseas.

    Mr. Kato will preside over the executive committee. "The second part of this project is "Artist in Residence" where two people stay in Hirosaki from mid-January and create works while feeling Tsugaru," he said. "The first bullet was from April to May of this year, I stayed in Mexico and made a work."

    Mr. Kato said, “This project is an activity certified by the Corporate Mecena Council. Contemporary dance is a dance genre that is not known to many people. Ideally, you should watch it on the day, but there are also such activities. To get to know something and to start something."

    The venue is Space Denega (Kamigawaga Town, Hirosaki City). Ticket price is ¥2,500 (1,000 yen for high school students and younger), 3,000 yen (1,500 yen) for the day. Free for preschoolers.
