The Hirosaki number introduction executive committee is currently looking for a design plan for the license plate with Hirosaki version.

The same license plate that will be delivered within 2020. This is the first time in Aomori Prefecture that a license plate with a pattern has been adopted. The executive committee, which consists of two local governments, Hirosaki City and Nishimeya Village, is calling for recruitment.

Applicants are individuals living in Japan, regardless of experience and award history. Up to 3 entries per person can be submitted, and the highest award, which is the design proposed to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, will be awarded a prize of 50,000 yen, and 2 awards will be awarded 20,000 yen.

After the recruitment, the selection committee will select three candidate designs and make a public vote to determine the award-winning works. The company will decide on a design to propose to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism within this year, and prepare for license plate issuance over a year.

The person in charge calls for "a license plate with a pattern, "local number" is an opportunity to transmit Hirosaki to the whole country. We are waiting for a design with Hirosaki's uniqueness".
