Both stores have been operating as "Kurumaya Ramen" for about 30 years. The name of each store was changed to "Menya Marudai Katata" (Miyakawa, Hirosaki, TEL 0172-33-8558) and "Menya Marudai Joto" (Waseda, TEL0172-26-0147).

“I want to create a store rooted in the local community,” said Koji Oyu, the president of Eiko Shoji (Ogimachi, Hirosaki City), which operates both stores. The price of the menu has been revised to make it easier for people to visit. The amount of normal noodles was increased from 150 grams to 160 grams. Business hours are Katata store = 11:00 to 24:30 and Joto store = 11:00 to 21:30. Only Joto store is closed on Thursday.
