A month has passed since the hair salon "ROA" (TEL 0172-40-2223) opened in Hyakuseki-cho, Hirosaki City.

The store opened on April 25. The shop owner is Mitsuru Sasaki, who has been involved in the beauty industry in Hirosaki for more than 20 years. The name of the store is based on the initials of "Rock of Ages". It is said to have the meaning of "eternal source".

Mr. Sasaki said, "It's a place where customers can relax for a long time, and we meant to keep growing."

Opened on the site of the general store "Indoa" which closed in January this year. He retired from his previous job on the premise of independence and was looking for a vacant store, but when he happened to pass by it, he found the poster for the store's "closed sale". “I was thinking of opening a store near Hirosaki Park in Hyakuseki-cho rather than in front of the station. I was negotiating with the landlord on the next day,” Sasaki recalls.

The store area is 14 tsubo, there are 3 cut seats and 2 shampoo stands. The interior is almost handmade and the concept is "overseas homes". Produced by Takehisa Hayakawa, the childhood friend of the tattoo salon "Eternal Crest" (Momoishicho). "The floor is made by an overseas technique called "paper floor. It is a technique that is not domestic, but learned by Mr. Hayakawa. The name of the store that was placed under the floor with 2 cm tiles was made over 4 days." Mr. Sasaki.

As for the menu, cut (shampoo & styling) is 3,500 yen for adults, 3,000 yen for middle and high school students, and 2,500 yen for elementary school students and younger (500 yen discount without shampoo). We are particular about coloring and have a menu of fashion colors (from 4,000 yen) and bleach colors (from 10,000 yen). Sasaki says, "I would like to spread the professional coloring that cannot be done by self-coloring, and make it clear that self-coloring causes great damage to the scalp."

It has been one month since it opened, and there are still some parts of the interior that are being renovated on regular holidays. Mr. Sasaki said, "I plan to install a signboard from now on. The purpose of the interior was to make it simple so that I could add or change something in the future. It is still under development, and it may not be completed," he said with a smile. show.

“Independence is because I want to be free to do what I want, and I want to continue working to create a store that does not compromise customer satisfaction.”

Business hours are from 10:00 to 20:00. Closed on Mondays and 3rd Tuesday
