    Aomori's “Maruishi Numata Shoten” (Aomori City Aoyagi, TEL 050-3785-3945) provided its own grilled chikuwa “peonyaki” to Hirosaki soccer club team “Brandue Hirosaki FC” on May 16th. did.

    Founded in 1918 (Taisho 7), the company manufactures and sells fish paste products. The main product is grilled chikuwa, which is called Aomori's original method called "peonyaki". The company signed a club partner contract with Brandue Hirosaki on the same day, and President Yuhiro Numata visited the Hirosaki Katsuyuki Training Center (Toyota, Hirosaki City).

    “There are currently only two Chikuwa makers in Aomori City, where there were more than 20 at the height of the market, with “kneading away” progressing mainly among young people,” says Numata. When he was searching for a means to publicize and appeal even a little, he said that there was a request from Brandue Hirosaki.

    According to Brandu Hirosaki's physical trainer Koji Tanaka, some people can't afford it because the cost of protein is well established after the exercise. "When I was consulted by a student, I once recommended Chikuwa that was easy to obtain, which was the reason for this partner contract," he said.

    "Chikuwa has high protein and low calories, and fish has a higher absorption rate than meat, so it can be expected to be effective as an athlete food," says Mr. Tanaka. Mr. Numata shows his willingness to appeal to a new customer base through Hirosaki's soccer club team.

    After the practice, the players who were given the grilled chirps said, "It's delicious" and "I want another one." Mr. Nobufumi Kurobe, the chairman of the board, said, "There was a seafood processor that sponsored a club team as a sponsor, but it is rare for a partner company to provide Chikuwa to support us."
