The sign of the traffic safety slogan written in Tsugaru dialect is an initiative that the Aomori Traffic Safety Association/Watoku Branch Traffic Safety Association started about 10 years ago. Currently, about 50 pieces are installed in the Hirosaki City Joto Elementary School (Okubo Nishida, Hirosaki City) school district.

According to Mr. Toshiaki Harada of the branch, four road safety slogans are selected from the slogans thought by 6th graders who were promoted in April every year, and are made as signs. "In recent years, the number of slogans in the standard language has tended to increase, so this year we asked for people to think with slogans that use the Tsugaru dialect. The four works were placed next to the school gate on the same day. Mr. Harada, who says with satisfaction, "I'm just masterful."

"The sign of "Unu-Unudo" was newly remade this year. Originally, the old sign will be removed and replaced with a new sign, but it will remain in the Hall of Fame because of its completeness and topicality. I decided to do it again."
