    Hirosaki's izakaya group "Shin-chan" opened a new store "Kushikoro Uoya-Shin-chan" (Shin Blacksmith Town, Hirosaki City) on March 1st.

    This store is run by Shinichi Tamura, who was originally from Hirosaki and is nicknamed "Shin-chan". As the third store next to "Charcoal-grilled hotpot Shin-chan" (Shin-Kaimachi) opened in February 2013 in Kakumi-koji, and "Fishoyaji Sake Restaurant Shin-chan (Shin-Kaimachi)" opened in March 2016. It opened on the 2nd floor of the “Uoya local brewery”.

    After graduating from junior high school, Tamura had the experience of studying alone in Canada with the aim of becoming a professional snowboarder. “I gave up my dream of being a professional, but my four years in Canada have had a big impact on me,” says Tamura.

    "After I gave up snowboarding, I started to love alcohol and became a longing for restaurants. All the food I provide is what I want to eat when I drink. I didn't pay attention to Kushikatsu because Hirosaki didn't. I had a lot of relatives in the Kansai region, so I used to eat it for a long time."

    The store area is about 40 tsubo. The number of seats is mainly a private room, one room for 20 people, one room for 25 people, one room for 10 rooms, 4 rooms for 12 rooms, and 5 counter seats.

    The menu includes course meals (from 4,000 yen), skewered menus with Ishikawa Wiener (130 yen), today's white meat (150 yen), scallops (250 yen), and single-course meals.

    Tamura says, "I haven't been able to respond to many requests for a private room for a long time. By using a tenant on the 2nd floor, I can provide services in cooperation with the fish shop local liquor store."

    Business hours are from 18:00 to 24:00.
