"French weather-Marché 2017" will be held on September 30 at Hourai Square Park (Hirosaki City, Dote Town).

This is the 4th event held this year to give you a taste of the atmosphere of the French market.

The event will be sponsored by Hirosaki Glocal Action, an organization launched by a student of the Hirosaki University community-oriented subject, "Connecting the Region and the World."

On the day of the event, 22 restaurants will open at the restaurant booth, including Matsuo, a specialty store for fu sweets, “Toitoi,” a bread shop that uses homemade yeast, and “Bonjour,” which won the Hirosaki Apple Pie General Election.

In the hands-on corner, we prepare message cards in French and German, face painting, and French bingo games. There will also be a hand-made organ demonstration by a writer, Shimano Euge, who lives and works in Sendai and manufactures and repairs musical instruments, and a photo booth with a British theme.

Madoka Yamauchi, a member of the group, said, “This Marche has a booth with participation from three universities, Keio University, Miyagi Gakuin Women's University, and Osaka Sangyo University, and international students are in the venue, so you can enjoy a more European atmosphere. I did."

At the venue headquarters, we will also distribute leaflets that collect French elements in Hirosaki and newspapers that summarize reports on visits to France.
